The Arthur Veterinary Clinic wants to welcome Dr. Kyle R. Drake to our practice.  Dr. Drake graduated from the University Of Illinois with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. During his tenure at the U of I he received numerous scholarships. Dr. Drake also served on the student chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners.

Dr. Drake lives in the rural Charleston area with his wife, one daughter, and one son. His family is rounded out with 2 rescue dogs, a stray cat, and four Clydesdales. He started raising and showing Clydesdales while still in vet school.

Moving into a progressive equine practice is an exciting step for Dr. Drake. He is also looking forward to the exposure to alternative medicine for both equine and small animal. Dr. Drake will be performing numerous equine duties including vaccines, blood work, dentals, digital radiographs, and emergency care both at the veterinary clinic and in the field. In house diagnostics, vaccines, radiographs, and surgery are a few of the small animal procedures he will perform.

The Arthur Veterinary Clinic is gratified to have found such an enthusiastic, talented veterinarian to help diversify the already skilled staff. Again, we welcome Dr. Drake to the staff and look forward to the prospects of a completed team.

Feel free to call our clinic at 217-543-3533 to make an appointment and let our staff help you care for your companion animals and equine.
