Elise Singer, Veterinary Assistant
I grew up in Roodhouse, Il. My father raised and showed Registered Horned Hereford cattle, which I and my two brothers also became very involved with. My interests then turned to horses, which I have been very active with all my life. I have an Associates Degree from Stephens College in Columbia, MO, with my studies being psychology and equine managment.
I married Tom Singer. Tom and I have three sons, Andy, Paul and Steven. We bred and showed Belgian Draft horses for 18 years. I now breed and show Wire Fox Terriers, and currently have 13 AKC Champions to my record. I was secretary for the National Belgian Futurity for 12 years and am the Futurity Chairman for the Wire Fox Terrier Club of Central States. I enjoy traveling the country with my show dogs and meeting new people.
I have helped Dr. Lisa L. Eller in one aspect or another since she first began her practice here in Arthur in 1989. My husband, Tom, was involved in building the original front building of the Arthur Veterinary Clinic and finishing the inside of the facility. I began working full time at the clinic in July 1997. I have assisted at the clinic by riding with the veterinarians on farm calls, collecting and processing equine semen and assisting with small animals. Currently, I am involved with maintaining the inventory, assisting with small animal and equine visits.
The Arthur Veterinary Clinic has been a truly wonderful business to work for. Our goal is to provide the best service we can for our clients and their pets. Dr. Lisa encourages us all to futher our education for this goal. We have all become very close and supportive of each other, which we hope carries through to our clients.
